Commercial VRV / VRF

The right way to cool a whole building.

For developers, facility managers and MEP consultants: a Daikin VRV system, scoped and installed by a local team that gets the details right — so your building runs cool, quiet and efficient for years.

Why VRV

Why buildings choose VRV over split units.

One engineered system instead of a dozen independent boxes — better comfort, lower bills, less maintenance.

Still deciding? Read VRV vs VRF vs split type — what the two names mean and when split units are the smarter call.

One system, many zones

A single outdoor unit drives dozens of indoor units — each room set to its own temperature, only cooling what's occupied.

Lower running cost

Inverter compressors modulate to demand instead of cycling on/off, so a VRV system draws far less power than banks of split units.

Quiet & precise

Steady, even cooling with none of the noise and hot-spots of window or split setups — a better room to work in.

Serviceable for a decade

Installed to spec and kept on a maintenance cycle, a VRV system is a 10-year-plus asset, not a yearly headache.

How it works

From site visit to a system you can run.

01

Site assessment

We visit, measure the load, and understand how the building is used — floor by floor, zone by zone.

02

System design

We size the VRV: outdoor capacity, indoor unit mix, refrigerant piping and controls — matched to real demand, not guesswork.

03

Supply & install

Correct line sizing, brazing, vacuum and charge. The unglamorous details that decide reliability.

04

Commission & handover

We test every zone, tune controls, and hand over a system your facilities team can actually run.

Case in point

Pentecostal church campus

One campus, seven Daikin system types, three delivery phases — a VRV backbone for the main halls with cassettes, ducted, floor-standing and D-Lite units through the rest of the site.

Questions

VRV, answered.

How much does a Daikin VRV system cost in the Philippines?

There is no honest list price. VRV cost is driven by total outdoor capacity (HP), how many indoor units you need and of what type, the refrigerant piping runs the building layout forces, and the controls you want. We scope all of that during a free site assessment and then give you one clear figure — we would rather quote late and be right than quote fast and revise.

What is the difference between VRV and an ordinary split-type aircon?

A split unit pairs one outdoor condenser with one indoor unit and runs on its own. A VRV system connects many indoor units to a single outdoor system on a shared refrigerant loop, varying refrigerant flow so each zone gets only the cooling it needs. For a whole building that means fewer condensers, central control and lower running cost than a bank of independent splits. Our guide goes deeper: VRV vs VRF vs split type.

Is VRV the same thing as VRF?

Yes. VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) is Daikin's trademark for the technology; VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) is the generic industry term for the same thing. A spec that says VRV is a Daikin system; a spec that says VRF is the same category from any manufacturer.

How long does a VRV installation take?

It depends on the size of the system and the state of the building. The sequence is always the same — site assessment, system design, supply and install, then commissioning and handover — and we give you a schedule with the quote, before anything is ordered. Retrofits into an occupied building take longer than a new build, because the work has to fit around how the space is used. See systems we have delivered.

What maintenance does a VRV system need?

Filter and coil cleaning on a regular cycle, refrigerant and electrical checks, and drainage inspection. Installed to spec and kept on a maintenance schedule, a VRV system is a ten-year-plus asset. Every unit we touch is logged in our ops system and we remind you when service is due, so nothing quietly falls behind.
