Three units for a function room

A function room fills and empties in a single evening. A hundred guests arrive within twenty minutes and the room has to hold its temperature through service — a very different demand from an office that warms slowly through the morning.

Three Daikin floor-mounted units, placed to move air across the room rather than down onto one table, and sized for the room full rather than the room empty. Floor-mounted rather than wall or cassette because the ceiling was already finished and the units had to go in without touching it.

Twenty-five days after handover we came back for the first scheduled check-up. That visit was booked at installation, not after a complaint — which is how every install here is handed over.
